Vehicle RC Registration Info
open_in_newOpen Vahan PortalThe Vahan Citizen Search service allows vehicle owners to check their registration details, road tax status, fitness, insurance expiration, and challan status online.
How to Check Online:
- Click the portal link above to open official Parivahan citizen search.
- Create a free account or login with your mobile number.
- Enter your complete Vehicle Number (e.g., WB02AB1234).
- Enter the verification Captcha and click Search Vehicle.
Driving License Status
open_in_newOpen Sarathi PortalVerify driving license status, validity period, vehicle classes allowed to drive (e.g. MCWG, LMV), and check license renewal eligibility.
How to Check:
- Click the portal link and select West Bengal state from the dropdown.
- Hover over Driving License menu and select Services on DL.
- Enter your DL Number (e.g., WB02 20151234567) and your Date of Birth.
- Click Submit to view status.

1. Driving License (DL) Renewal Checklist:
- Original expiring Driving License (DL).
- Form 9 (Application Form).
- Form 1A (Medical Certificate - mandatory for applicants over 40 years).
- Address Proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter Card).
- Passport size photos (3 copies).
2. Vehicle Ownership Transfer Checklist:
- Original Registration Certificate (RC Book).
- Form 29 & Form 30 (Notice & Report of Transfer).
- Valid Insurance Certificate.
- Valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate.
- Buyer's ID and Address Proof (Aadhaar/PAN).
- Seller's PAN or Form 60.
